Competition Details
This is a 3 month competition with R1000 cash prize awarded every month for September (residential), October (businesses) and November (residential) 2025.
The initiative strives to see our residential and business sidewalks receive much needed attention with a fun prize incentive. Proudly Harties is a registered NPC and therefore the competition is free. Donations are still welcome.
Gift vouchers from local businesses are also up for grabs by runner-ups in the competition.
Judges are managers & owners from local businesses. The competition process is formal and the purpose thereof is lighthearted and fun.
Entries open 1 August 2025. You will need a BEFORE photo of your sidewalk.

ALL entries close 12 October 2025 at 17h00.
Judging of September Residential Entries
The competition judges will visit your residential #sassysidewalk #sassysypaadjie on Tuesday 30 September 2025. Winners will be announced soon after that and prizes awarded too. COMPLETED
Judging of October Business Entries
The competition judges will visit your business #sassysidewalk #sassysypaadjie on Friday 31 October 2025. Winners will be announced soon after that and prizes awarded too.
Judging of November Residential Entries
